We have settled into a rhythm and have decided to continue down this current path for the time being. While I look forward to the day all three children are jumping on the bus in the morning to be with their friends and to learn from the incredible teachers in our district, for right now, this is working well for our family. I wanted to share some of my favorite homeschool resources with you and a basic rundown of what curriculum program I’ve created for my children:
We made our first batch of homemade beeswax candles this week. I had recently read about the health benefits of beeswax candles and learned a few things that surprised and inspired me to try this project and pay more attention to what my candles are made with.
This year, the kids and I have a goal of spending 1000 hours outside! We printed off a gorgeous free tracker from 1000 Hours Outside and have it hanging proudly on our wall and easily accessible to the kids when they come inside. I hope you will consider downloading it too! It can be catered to what works best for your family and is a beautiful way to encourage time outdoors together in nature.
